about

I'm a developer, technical leader, and audio engineer with a creative and people-centered approach to problem solving. Most recently I was Head of Support at Copilot, where I was an early hire and built the department from scratch. I currently run my own business, Norton Applications, specializing in software development and automations solutions for small businesses.

At Copilot, I managed developer relations, our API docs, product guide, and technical documentation, and I've contributed across the stack—from our SDK and API design to internal tools and integrations with Zapier, Make, and Retool.

I also supported enterprise clients by building custom full-stack apps (mostly in Next.js) and automating workflows that save teams time and effort. Most recently, I launched our developer community and run our Discourse forum.

Before that, I taught full-time at ThriveDX (in partnership with UW Madison), leading curriculum development and instruction in React, Node, Typescript, and Python.

I've also worked as a support engineer at Bitrise, helping developers debug complex mobile CI/CD pipelines, and have taken on freelance work in web development—building everything from music databases to platforms for community mutual aid.

I have a degree in Audio Enginering and worked in the music industry as a recording engineer, producer, MD, and recording artist for 10+ years. My background in music and audio engineering means I bring an intuitive, collaborative mindset to technical work.

My project as a recording artist is called Cellars, you can check it out on Spotify, Apple Music, and other digital platforms. Press links and upcoming shows can be found on my Linktree.

I care a lot about clarity, autonomy, and making tools that actually help people - I love building things that make complicated processes feel simple.

TLDR I like to make things work, make people feel welcome, and get things done :)
